LP is committed to building community in the places where our employees and customers live and work. Building good relationships with our neighbors. Sharing our time and expertise. And making charitable contributions of products and cash.
At many of our facilities, we sponsor Community Advisory Councils that help us stay connected to important local issues and keep our neighbors up to date on what’s happening at LP.
Our employees across the US, Canada and Chile bring to life our tagline --“Build With Us.” LP people love to get together to give back. We build Habitat for Humanity homes, clean up beaches, tutor in schools and teach kids how to take better care of our environment, to name a few.
Through our charitable contributions, Community Impact Program and the LP Foundation, we provide products and funding to support qualified nonprofit 501(c) 3 organizations and public schools.
The LP Foundation, the charitable arm of LP Building Products, supports nonprofit and public schools in the towns where our employees live and work. The LP Foundation focuses its giving in four areas: shelter programs, education, environmental programs and social services.
The LP Foundation accepts grant applications from 501(c)(3) organizations and public schools throughout the year. Prior to submitting a request, review the
LP Foundation Information Brochure for instructions on submitting a grant proposal. Only applications adhering to the submission guidelines will be accepted and reviewed. Please submit proposals via e-mail to the

The LP Foundation is not accepting applications at this time.
